About Us

The mission of the Water Systems Analysis Group at the University of New Hampshire is:

To serve as a research and advanced training facility for analyzing freshwater systems at ecosystem to global scales, the environmental change issues altering freshwater systems, and the interactions of freshwater systems and society.

The Water Systems Analysis Group (WSAG) is located within the Earth Systems Research Center (ESRC) in the Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space (EOS) at the University of New Hampshire, with strong collaborations with other departments at UNH, including the Departments of Natural Resources and the Environment, Earth Science, Environmental Engineering, as well as researchers distributed around the country. WSAG has strong ties to the Long Term Ecological Research network through the Plum Island Ecosystem LTER site in northeastern MA, as well as several other regional projects, offering considerable opportunity for networking.
